Sarah Dawn Pledge is an actress, producer, instructor & facilitator. She is of mixed descent born & raised in W(‘honnock), BC. She has been fortunate enough to carve a path acting and improvising for the last two decades, and is grateful to acknowledge she creates, works & plays as a guest on the traditional, ancestral & unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. She raises her hands to the stewards of these lands.

 

Sarah is a long-time member & former Education Director of Queerprov as well as a founder & co-producer of Momentous Comedy, producer of the Dirty Little Secrets Improv Show, Lights! and Puff the Magic Improv Show. She spent several years honing her craft at Vancouver Theatre Sports.

 

Sarah's forte lies in fostering connections and encouraging teams to play while applying improv concepts to new realms, ultimately instilling confidence in individuals and groups alike. As a facilitator for Improv for Work & Wellness, Sarah has worked with many clients to offer her expertise in team-building, presentations, public speaking, and improv for interviews. Collaborating with esteemed companies such as BCMLA, UBC, BCGEU, Lululemon, HEU, Connective, and the VIFF Centre, she navigates through diverse dynamics with ease.

 

Sarah works extensively in film & television. Select credits include Land, Motherland: Fort Salem, Diggstown and Under the Bridge. She has also co-produced documentaries that highlight important & necessary stories, including Beyond The Podium: Celebrating Woman Champions.
