I didn't quite understand myself until I started doing improv.  Even when playing a multitude of different characters, you learn more and more about yourself each time you allow yourself to think less and play more.

Caitlin is a Vancouver-based improviser, actor, writer, and administrative coordinator.  With a bachelor's degree in Psychology and over 15 years of experience in the medical, legal, and not-for-profit sectors, Caitlin comes with a wealth of human behavioural knowledge and administrative expertise that has been surprisingly useful as she immersed herself in the art form of improv.  Caitlin has trained and performed all over North America with renowned improv theatre companies, building a reputation for her dynamic, heartfelt performances, and collaborative nature.

In Vancouver, Caitlin performs regularly with a variety of improv theatre companies and ensembles, including, but not limited to, The Improv Centre, Instant Theatre Company, Tightrope Impro Theatre, The Spontaneous Shakespeare Company, QueerProv, yamjam Improv, and Embezzlement Comedy.  Additionally, as a co-founder and Treasurer of yamjam Improv Society, and Treasurer for the Queer Improv Society of Vancouver, Caitlin has helped nurture and grow inclusive spaces for improv in the city.

Beyond performing, Caitlin is a dedicated coach and instructor, having taught at UBCimprov, Canadian Improv Games (Improv Camp), QueerProv, Instant Theatre Company, The Improv Centre, and various workshops across the Vancouver theatre community.  Her lifelong passion for live theatre and comedy fuels her approach to improv as a joyful, collaborative art form. Caitlin credits her journey in the arts as proof that it’s never too late to follow your passions.  Whether on stage or behind the scenes, she brings enthusiasm, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to the craft.
