Improv keeps you present, and keeps you leaning into possibilities - for yourself, for your team, for your future.

Briana Rayner is an improviser, actor, writer and filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC.

Briana grew up in a creative household on Vancouver Island, and completed a  BA in English Literature from the University of Victoria. She pursued a career in the arts; after joining an improv company she also auditioned for the Circle the Square Theatre School in New York and completed a Summer Theatre Intensive. Performance intertwined with corporate training and communication development has been part of her practice for more than 20 years.

After relocating to Vancouver, she joined the improv community and for two years enjoyed the role of co-Artistic Director at Instant Theatre.

The skills developed in improv show up in every endeavour; connecting with others to build relationships, to stay present, and to adopt a mindset designed for thriving. Briana works with clients to bolster their clarity, presence, and confidence by clearly identifying and employing their strengths to embrace and demonstrate their leadership.

Briana facilitates and coaches across a multitude of areas, such as healthcare, natural resources, public service, energy, community organizations and companies such as TD, Scotiabank, KPMG, Teleflex, Microsoft, , MMC, and the UBC Sauder School of Business. Briana's a Registered Corporate Coach with the WABC, and, in her spare time, she likes to bake and watch shark attack videos.
