Avi is a first generation mixed Filipino-Canadian artist born and raised in Vancouver. She has had the opportunity to pursue singing and dancing professionally and competitively, both at local and international levels since the age of 9. 

 

While acting and writing came later in life, they've brought a sense of alignment and purpose she's been yearning for since childhood. Through these mediums, Avi has found a way to be of service and connect with others, weaving stories that resonate deeply with the human experience. 

 

In her journey, improvisation has proven to be an invaluable resource, enriching not only their artistic endeavours but also enhancing their personal and professional relationships. Beyond her individual creative pursuits, Avi finds joy in actively supporting various master teachers in the city, offering both in-class support and administrative assistance. Their distinct presence, intuitive depth, empathetic nature, and effective communication abilities imbue the space with warmth and ease, establishing a supportive atmosphere where exploration, connection, and play thrive.
